{hands on} bright spring shawl

You know, it is just such a pleasure to make things for other people!  I keep thinking I’m going to start on a sweater or some project for myself, but the time has not been ripe.

I used a batch of marisol api yarn – a beautiful light, soft, and fuzzy blend of alpaca and highland wool from Peru.  And I adapted the pattern from Debbie Stoller’s excellent crochet book The Happy Hooker (it’s the sweet pea shawl).  sweet pea 1
